Entrance Requirements
To be eligible you must satisfy the
following criteria:
| Academic |
A degree
from a university or other institution acceptable to the University
of London; or an appropriate professional or technical qualification
which satisfies the University as a qualification on the same
level as a first degree. Work experience in a health sciences/health
care setting is desirable but not essential. |

An advanced
level of ability to work in English is required. Applicants
may be required to pass or to have passed within the last
five years, at the appropriate level, a test of proficiency
in English acceptable to the University, e.g. a TOEFL score
of 600 (or 250 in the computerised test) and a minimum of
5 in the TWE or a British Council (IELTS) overall score of
7 or over with a minimum of 7 in the written sub-test. |

Pentium or better, 90MHz or higher (recommended).
OS: Windows 95 (minimum); Windows 98 or higher
(recommended).
RAM memory: 32MB or higher (recommended).
Hard disk space: 88MB (Postgraduate Diploma),
185MB (MSc); 6MB is the minimum if the sessions are read from
the CD.
CD-ROM drive: Double speed or faster (recommended).
Graphics: 256 colours (minimum), 65536 colours
or higher (recommended). Resolution 640x480 or higher.
Internet connection: Email account (minimum),
Web access (strongly recommended).
Printer: Either laser or inkjet (recommended). |
