Application by post

  1. Complete the application form (pdf; New Window) or you may request a prospectus to be posted to you [New Window]. You will find an application form stapled in the middle of the prospectus and submit it by post (not by fax) together with the fee and all the documentation listed on the form to:

    The Postgraduate Admissions Office
    University of London
    Stewart House
    32, Russell Square
    London WC1B 5DN
    United Kingdom
    Tel: +44 (0)20 7862 8375

Faxed applications will not be accepted.

  1. When the University has received your form, will send you an acknowledgement and a student number. Please note that University of London allocate a student number to everyone who applies – it does not mean that you have been accepted onto the degree/Diploma. If you have not received an acknowledgement within three weeks of sending in your form, please contact the Postgraduate Admissions Office with details of your full name, the qualification for which you have applied and the date you posted your form.

Note: applications will only be considered when they had received the necessary documentation (including the references).

  1. University of London will notify you whether or not you have been successful.
  2. If you are accepted, you will be sent an offer of registration, a fee slip, a registration form and a copy of the Regulations.
  3. If you decide to register you will need to complete your registration form and fee slip and return these, along with the appropriate fee, by 31 August.
  4. Study will commence in September.

Notes:

  • Applicants come to the University from all over the world, with a variety of qualifications, and as a result the University has to consider each application thoroughly and on an individual basis. The University regret that it is not possible for them to give you any informal advice on your eligibility for admission. For this reason, you must make a formal application before they can tell you whether they can accept you.

  • At its discretion, the University may sometimes consider applications received after 30 June. All such enquiries should be made directly to the Postgraduate Admissions Office.

  • There is a definite start to the study year for these courses – September each year. Materials are dispatched, usually by courier, from the beginning of August to all students who have paid the registration and unit fees. Even if you register as early as June, your study materials will only be sent to you during August, in time for a September start.
